President’s Message
Welcome to our Newcomers Welcome Club of Lake Oswego, West Linn and surrounding communities. Our club was founded in the 1950’s with the purpose to reach out to make new friends and become active members of our communities. Each year we support three needy charities from the Portland Metropolitan Area.
We have over 200 members and are continually adding new friends. We have monthly coffees and luncheons at which our social women gain information and get involved in our ongoing activities. As a member of the Newcomers Welcome Club there are numerous social benefits to take advantage of such as Bridge, Mah Jongg, Bunco, Euchre, Garden Club, Lunch Bunch, Weekly Walkers, Trekkers, Singles Dinner Group, Couples Dinner Group, Golf, Adventurers, Theater Goers, Wine Socials and much more. Ideas for new groups are always encouraged.
In addition to our social activities, we have a strong commitment to serving our community through our philanthropic and outreach programs.
If you would like to learn more about the club, we cordially invite you to attend one of our Meet & Greet Coffees. The Coffees are held in one of our member’s homes where you will have an opportunity to meet other new residents as well as obtain updated information on our ongoing activities.
